Mission Viejo is a master planned community nestled in the Saddleback Valley. It is considered one of the largest communities ever built under a single project in the United States. With a population of over 100,000, it has been named one of the safest cities in California, according to CQ Press.

Mission Viejo has a major youth athletic facility with baseball and soccer fields. The Mission Viejo Nadadores Swimming and Diving team is renowned. Home of Saddleback Community College, Mission Viejo is also close to the University of California Irvine, and Soka University. Mission Hospital, the region’s designated trauma center, is in Mission Viejo, with Saddleback Memorial Medical Center very nearby, the only women’s hospital in south Orange County.
