Distinct within the city limits of Newport Beach, Corona del mar is an affluent community about 50 miles south of Los Angeles. Served by Newport Beach municipal services, the city named in Spanish, meaning, “Crown of the Sea” is known for its quaint village feel with its own zip code.

Corona del Mar State Beach is a popular place for swimmers, surfers and divers with a beach framed by cliffs forming the entrance to Newport Harbor. Close by is Fashion Island for modern shopping, and many dining and entertainment choices. The neighboring Pelican Hill area has two golf courses.

Consisting mostly of free standing detached single homes with varying architecture, Corona del Mar includes some prestigious residential neighborhoods. Schools offer quality education including Corona del Mar High School, Newport Harbor High School, and the private high school, Sage Hill School.  Pacific Coast Highway, close freeways and toll roads offer versatile transportation corridors.

Within minutes is Hoag Memorial Hospital, known for exceptional healthcare with more than 1,300 physicians, 5,000 employees and 2,000 volunteers.
